We are seeking highly qualified Aircraft Mechanics. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, work well with pilots/principals, and be an experienced Aircraft Mechanic.
Well-qualified candidates will have Cessna/Textron experience, impeccable customer service skills, and a solid work history. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of business aviation, a solid work ethic, attention to detail, and adaptability to new technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft modifications and maintenance on Turbine and Piston aircraft, including troubleshooting, removal, and installation of airframe components, landing gear, engine components, electrical components, control systems, and other maintenance tasks to ensure aircraft are flight-ready.
- Communicate effectively with scheduling, flight crews, technical support, vendors, and leadership.
- Perform maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical and avionics systems.
- Work independently to complete maintenance and avionics tasks.
- Coordinate, order, receive, and inspect tooling and materials needed for aircraft servicing.
- Manage shipment of core units and tooling back to proper locations.
- Complete work orders, logbook entries, shift turnovers, expense reports, and related paperwork promptly.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, manuals, and company policies.
- Maintain professional relationships and positively promote the brand.
- Identify and tag parts and equipment properly; store aircraft components securely.
- Operate support equipment for major component removal and installation.
- Coordinate with Line Service and FBO operations for aircraft movement.
- Provide updates on aircraft status and support activities to leadership.
- Be reliable, self-motivated, and maintain professionalism under stress.
- Assist in training new or junior employees.
- Maintain company training requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- At least 3 years of experience in inspection, maintenance, or service of corporate aircraft.
- Experience with Cessna/Textron aircraft highly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for relevant aircraft models and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- FCC license preferred.
- Formal training in Cessna/Textron products, such as Flight Safety Maintenance initial training.
