Where Is The Work
This position is designated as remote within a geography supporting the greater Wilmington, MA area.
Job Summary
- This unique role combines HVAC and Controls expertise to start, commission, diagnose, and repair environmental-control systems in diverse commercial settings.
- Serves as the direct customer contact, responsible for servicing products and equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinates with team leaders and customers to understand requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize onsite work.
- Keeps current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of DDC systems.
- Enforces safety standards and maintains security of company assets.
- Maintains flexibility to work overtime, including occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of HVAC/Controls experience; technical training preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Experience with DDC controls system preferred.
- EPA certification preferred.
Additional Requirements & Environmental Exposure
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely and wear safety gear.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as twisting, squatting, reaching, standing, lifting, and climbing ladders.
- Exposure to variable weather, heights, mechanical parts, electrical hazards, and noisy environments.
Compensation
Base Pay Range: $30-45/hr. (based on US averages; actual pay may vary based on seniority, merit, location)
