Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking an Engineer Customer Service to provide technical assistance and coordination between customers, Marketing, and Engineering/Manufacturing. You will prepare technical proposals and problem summaries for company-wide use and support field operations.

You will respond to questions about maintenance and operation, organize technical data, maintain a technical file, and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Aircraft maintenance experience with extensive avionic knowledge.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team.
• Occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming phone and email questions about Textron Aviation aircraft.
• Writes and prepares technical data and problem summaries for internal teams.
• Sustains technical files of product improvements and changes.
• Collects and analyzes discrepancy reports; coordinates corrective action.
• Acts as liaison between customer and Textron Aviation on problems.
• Provides on-site technical advisory support at service centers when needed.
• Participates in audits of contracted training curriculum and verifies data.
• Prepares and presents technical programs for operators conferences.
