The role requires strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, with experience in MS Office and database navigation. NYC residency may apply, with a 8:00am–4:00pm schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Customer assistance to the public via phone, in-person, and e-mail regarding permits and registrations.
  • Process fees for air permits and applications using FMS and spreadsheets.
  • Review boiler registration renewals in the CATS system.
  • Investigate property title searches in multiple databases for violations.
  • Sort daily mail to separate fees for permits, renewals, and new applications.
  • Create/pull application folders for inspections and return to correct area.
  • Process summons in CRM; research summonses in DOS and prepare service packages.

Education

Bachelor's degree + 2 years clerical/administrative experience (supervisory)
Associate degree or 60 credits + 3 years clerical/administrative (supervisory)
