Motorola Solutions, in collaboration with Silvus Technologies, seeks a Business Development Engineer to merge RF capabilities with DoD Air Force priorities. You will support engineering teams, demonstrate interoperability, and push field-ready solutions across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

The role requires up to 50% travel and offers a remote-working option depending on location, with security-clearance prerequisites and a strong focus on customer-facing technical proposals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

• Assist in analyzing US Air Force priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate to leverage testing and benchmarking data to verify architectures.
• Present technical demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networking needs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests, meetings, and demonstrations.
