The role emphasizes relationship-building, strategy, and cross-functional leadership across technical, proposal, pricing, and contracts teams. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in DoD contracting and a proven track record of winning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Established network within AFLCs and relevant industry partners.
• 5 years of DoD contracting experience, with focus on Air Force Logistics Centers preferred.
• Understanding of AFLC structure, mission, priorities, and acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS).
• Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing capture teams in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proposal tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with AFLC stakeholders and program managers.
• Identify and qualify new DoD opportunities aligned with company capabilities.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to shape capture strategies.
• Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans, including pricing and teaming.
• Lead cross-functional capture teams across technical, proposal, pricing, and contracts teams.
• Collaborate with technical teams to craft compelling, compliant solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance to proposal development and gate review briefings.
• Maintain an accurate AFLC opportunity pipeline and forecast.
• Support post-submission activities, clarifications, and negotiations.
• Represent the company at industry events and meetings to identify opportunities.
