DSV – Global transport and logistics seeks an Air Export Gateway Freight Forwarder in Texas to manage air export shipments from gateway facilities, coordinating with carriers and ensuring timely delivery to international destinations.

The role requires knowledge of air freight operations, export documentation, and trade regulations, with 2–3 years of freight forwarding experience and proficiency in CargoWise/CHAMP systems. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of freight forwarding or air export operations experience.
Strong knowledge of air freight operations, international trade regulations, and customs procedures.
Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and systems (e.g., CargoWise, CHAMP Cargosystems).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate air export shipments from the gateway facility, including booking space and coordinating with carriers.
Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
Prepare export documents (air waybills, invoices, packing lists) accurately.
Verify documentation accuracy to facilitate customs clearance and cargo acceptance.
Facilitate customs clearance procedures and file export declarations as needed.
Track shipments from gateway to destination airport and provide status updates.
Address delays or issues and implement corrective actions.
Serve as primary client contact for shipment status and documentation needs.
