Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a Freight Forwarder to manage air export processes, prepare required documents, and coordinate with airlines and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong organization, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of customs regulations. English fluency is essential; prior freight forwarding experience is preferred. Base pay range is provided and will depend on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Prior freight forwarding or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels.
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments.
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.
• All other duties as assigned.
