Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in the United States seeks a Freight Forwarder Air Export to manage air-export shipments, prepare customs documents, and coordinate with airlines and customers for timely delivery.

You will track shipments, maintain strong client relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient service. Fluency in English and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels.
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments.
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.
