Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking an Air Export AOG Agent in Columbus to support export shipments from an operations perspective. You will handle documentation, data entry, and customer communications across Expeditors offices worldwide, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.

You will also monitor reports, assist with client billing, and maintain compliance with internal policies and government regulations while pursuing KPI targets and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal skills including listening, comprehension, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proven background for excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Track and Trace shipments.
• Prepare, handle, and process shipment documentation (house/master airway bills, commercial documents, and regulatory docs).
• Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, Expeditors offices worldwide, and coworkers via email, phone, IM, and in-person.
• Monitor reports.
• Accurate and timely client billing.
• Maintain relationships with airlines, trucking companies, and others.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and customer requirements.
• Meet KPIs to support department and company goals.
• Understand department processes and seek efficiency improvements.
• Training and development: 52 hours of annual training (company provided).
