Job summary

Expeditors in Columbus, OH is seeking a logistics professional to process shipments, prepare customs entries, and ensure accurate data entry in operating systems. You will work within our global network to support timely customs clearance and customer communication.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of the global logistics industry, strong MS Excel/Word skills, and fluent English; training and development opportunities are provided across our 52-hour annual training expectation.

Qualifications

• Global logistics industry know-how.
• Fluent English in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Receive documents.
• Prepare customs entries in Customsware or other customs software.
• Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.
• Ensure timely customs clearance of shipments.
• Monitor customs clearances and communicate with customers.
• Timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Timely and accurate data entry.
• Timely and accurate billing and accounting.
