Job summary

Expeditors in the United States is seeking a dedicated Air Export professional to ensure timely movement of freight and provide exceptional customer service. You will manage data entry, tracking, and communications with overseas teams and customers to support seamless international shipments.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of related experience, basic knowledge of air documentation, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. IATA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly to obtain positive results.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime in support of department needs.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• IATA certification (preferred).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate freight process flow within Air Export.
• Enter data into the operational system accurately.
• Track and Trace Air Export files and reporting.
• Communicate arrival notices to overseas and customers.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing to clients and service providers.
• Interact with customers to arrange international shipments and meet service standards.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers (airlines, trucking, etc.).
• Adhere to government regulations and internal procedures.
• Understand department processes and seek efficiency improvements.
• Update customers' SOPs as needed.
• Meet KPI standards per company procedures.
