Job Summary

We are seeking 3 experienced Air Export Specialists for temporary contract opportunities in Gardena, CA. This role is ideal for logistics professionals with strong air freight export experience, CargoWise knowledge, and a detail-oriented approach to international shipment coordination. As an Air Export Specialist, you will support the full air export process from shipment setup through final documentation and tracking. You will work in a fast-paced, 100% on-site logistics environment where accuracy, communication, attendance, and follow-through are essential. This opportunity offers stability for up to 11 months and the chance to work closely with experienced transportation, warehouse, airline, and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process international air export shipments from start to finish.
• Prepare, review, and maintain export documentation, including HAWB, MAWB, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Ensure shipments comply with customs regulations, export requirements, and internal procedures.
• Communicate with airlines, warehouses, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and updates.
• Schedule pickups, arrange bookings, and track cargo movement to support timely delivery.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in CargoWise and related systems.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $27 to $28 per hour.
• Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
• Assignment Length: Temporary assignment for up to 11 full months.
• Location: Gardena, CA.
• Work Arrangement: 100% on site.
• Openings: 3 positions available.
• Pre-employment Requirements: Must pass background check and drug screen upon selection.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Coordinate international air export shipments and manage shipment movement from booking through final processing.
• Prepare and review air export documentation, including HAWB, MAWB, invoices, and packing lists.
• Maintain shipment data and documentation in CargoWise.
• Communicate shipment status with airlines, warehouses, customers, and internal teams.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant air export, air freight, or import/export administration experience.
• Must have industry experience in air freight.
• Must have hands-on CargoWise experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of export documentation, customs compliance, and international shipping requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Excellent attendance and reliability are required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a freight forwarding, transportation, or international logistics environment.
• Familiarity with airline bookings, warehouse coordination, and cargo tracking processes.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and customer requests with a high level of urgency and professionalism.
