Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in San Francisco, CA, is hiring a Freight Forwarder for Air Export. You will coordinate export shipments by air, prepare customs documents, and communicate with customers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and solid knowledge of air freight regulations. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• All other duties as assigned.
