Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Houston seeks a Freight Forwarder for Air Export to manage export shipments, documentation and customer communications. Strong organizational, communication and detail-oriented skills are essential.

Base pay is hourly with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and regulatory compliance. This role requires proficiency in logistics software and MS Office, plus English fluency and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, scheduling with airlines and managing movement through transportation channels.
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on shipment status.
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
• All other duties as assigned.
