Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Air Export to manage export shipments, documentation, and customer communications from the San Francisco area. You will coordinate with airlines, prepare customs paperwork, and monitor shipments end-to-end.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with trade laws.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, scheduling with airlines and managing movement through transport channels.
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to customers.
• Manage customer relationships and address concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
