Job summary

Prolific is seeking Customer Support Representatives to join the Expert Network and help train and evaluate AI models using real service expertise. Successful candidates will complete a short test and may join Prolific as participants paid to train AI models, with rates up to $30 per hour and tasks requiring one hour of uninterrupted work.

You'll leverage CRM tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, Intercom, or Freshdesk, and communicate via Slack, Teams, and email ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• Years of experience in high-volume customer support, technical support, or client success roles.
• Exceptional written English with adaptive tone, empathy, and clarity.
• Proven ability to de-escalate complex situations and troubleshoot issues.
• High typing speed and ability to navigate multiple sources quickly.
• Sharp eye for identifying errors in logic, tone, or factual accuracy.
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus for translation and localization quality.
• Must have a PayPal account to receive payment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI chatbot responses for accuracy and brand voice adherence.
• Simulate customer interactions and create realistic support tickets and dialogues.
• Refine AI-generated knowledge bases, FAQs, and macros for clarity and technical correctness.
• Annotate model responses for sentiment to ensure appropriate empathy and professionalism.
• Quality assurance by comparing outputs against standard support rubrics.
