Job summary

Gradial in Seattle is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead full‑stack development for enterprise deployments, working directly with customers to map complex workflows into scalable generative AI systems.

You will move between discovery, prototyping, implementation and post‑launch optimization, translating real‑world pain points into robust technical solutions while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of software engineering or technical implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of APIs and systems integration.
• Ability to map complex enterprise workflows to scalable AI-native solutions.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (<10%) for customer discovery and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and implementation for new enterprise customers, translating business processes into AI-native solutions.
• Build, deploy and optimize features that integrate customer systems with Gradial’s platform.
• Develop reusable tools, adapters and configuration layers for scalable onboarding.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and surface edge cases in real time.
• Work with product and engineering teams to incorporate field learnings into the roadmap.
• Contribute to internal documentation and implementation playbooks for future deployments.
• Own performance, reliability and maintainability from backend to customer UX.
