Job summary

Gradial is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer in Seattle to lead end-to-end enterprise implementations of our AI platform. You’ll own full-stack development for deployments, working directly with customers to map complex workflows into scalable generative systems and iterating from discovery to post-launch optimization.

You’ll collaborate with marketing, operations, and engineering stakeholders to surface edge cases, define requirements, and push the core roadmap with field learnings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or technical implementation experience, ideally in customer-facing contexts.
• Experience in programming languages such as TypeScript or similar, with a strong understanding of APIs and systems integration.
• Ability to rapidly understand unfamiliar enterprise software architectures (CMS, DAM, workflow tools) and build integration paths.
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High ownership mindset with comfort operating independently and navigating ambiguity.
• Experience with enterprise customers in content, marketing or digital operations; familiarity with AI/LLM pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and implementation for new enterprise customers, translating business processes into AI-native solutions.
• Build, deploy and optimize features that integrate customer systems with Gradial’s LLM-driven platform.
• Develop reusable tools, adapters and configuration layers for scalable onboarding.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to define requirements, surface edge cases and iterate in real time.
• Work with product and engineering teams to incorporate field learnings into the roadmap.
• Contribute to internal technical docs and deployment playbooks to accelerate future deployments.
• Own performance, reliability and maintainability from backend to customer UX.
