Job summary

Guild.ai is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our platform and customers. You will own end-to-end engagements, from discovery through deployment, integrating Slack, GitHub, Salesforce, and other tools with our agent-based solutions.

You’ll collaborate with sales and product engineering to translate field learnings into product improvements, shaping scalable, reusable templates and libraries. Hybrid/in-person work in the SF Bay Area is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical pre-sales experience partnering with sales teams to position complex technical products and drive customer deals to closure.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on full-stack development (Python, TypeScript) preferred but not required.
• Deep comfort working with third-party APIs, authentication protocols, and enterprise systems.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clean, maintainable technical solutions.
• Ability to explain complex infrastructure to non-technical stakeholders while maintaining technical credibility with developers.
• A proactive, “figure it out” mindset to ship solutions in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical side of customer engagements end-to-end.
• Partner with customers to map business processes to agent-based solutions.
• Design and build integration architectures connecting our platform to customer tools.
• Implement custom workflows and agent behaviors using modern LLM frameworks.
• Perform full-stack work across Python, TypeScript, and React as needed.
• Develop supporting services and interfaces for seamless customer solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to incorporate field feedback into roadmap.
