Fortinet, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Sales Engineer to drive pre-sales execution for AI Security solutions in the Chicago region.

You will partner with an AI Sales Specialist to shape the go-to-market strategy, enable regional Sales Engineers with hands-on product knowledge, and support discovery, architecture reviews, and POCs. You will manage demo environments, train partners, engage channels, and lead customer-facing engagements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, including at least 2 years in AI and related technologies.
• Experience engaging with cloud or AI security engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML architects.
• Understanding of core AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workloads, Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of core AI security concepts (access controls, identity management, network integration, EDR, red-teaming, guardrails).
• Familiarity with popular agentic AI tools, AI infrastructure, and their security implications is preferred.
• Exemplary written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience deploying production applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to travel up to 50% to develop customer relationships and advance opportunities.

Mansioni

• Partner with the AI Sales Specialist to shape and execute the GTM strategy for AI Security solutions across the region.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers with the latest product capabilities and live demonstrations.
• Provide comprehensive support for technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs.
• Assist customers with deployment of AI Security solutions in self-hosted environments.
• Maintain and manage demo environments and training materials.
• Engage channel and reseller partners to extend technical expertise for AI Security opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, qualify, and close AI Security opportunities.
• Lead customer-facing engagements, including architecture reviews, evaluations, product demos, and training.
• Facilitate post-sales handovers to ensure successful deployments and long-term success.
• Cultivate relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and AI leaders.
• Serve as an AI evangelist to educate customers on best practices and secure deployment.
