Job summary

Blackbaud seeks a Strategic Pricing Analyst for AI Products to lead pricing strategy and packaging for AI-enabled offerings. You’ll partner with Product GMs/owners to design monetization roadmaps, build pricing models, and guide from experimentation to scalable monetization.

You’ll analyze AI cost drivers, set telemetry, and collaborate with Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal to ensure governance while maximizing value capture and customer trust.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in pricing strategy for SaaS products.
• 2+ years working on AI-enabled products.
• 3+ years with license-, usage-, outcome-, and hybrid-pricing models.
• Strong financial modeling including AI model/token economics.
• Experience partnering with Product GMs/P&L owners without formal authority.
• Familiarity with SaaS O2C, entitlement/metering, CPQ, and telemetry for pricing analytics.
• Exceptional communication skills translating pricing tradeoffs into clear narratives.

Responsibilities

• Act as the pricing lead for assigned product lines; define and test new AI packaging and pricing strategies.
• Partner with Product GMs/P&L owners to build a multi-phase monetization roadmap with gates and KPIs.
• Design and model pricing constructs; run sensitivity analyses including AI cost drivers.
• Define telemetry requirements and entitlement controls for scalable usage management.
• Lead concept testing, A/B pilots, and controlled rollouts; refine offers based on feedback.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal to translate policies into workflows with governance.
• Create rate cards, SKUs, discount guidelines, and upgrade pathways; train GTM on pricing decisions.
• Own price realization and margin; monitor attach rates, usage vs entitlement, and cost-to-serve.
