Job summary

Clera, a small AI-native SaaS startup based in San Francisco, seeks a Pricing Architect to own customer engagements end-to-end—from discovery to live pricing model deployment—and to shape the pricing engine. You will lead workshops, design segmentation and monetization logic, and partner with product and engineering to improve AI recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management in tech or SaaS.
• Deep expertise in pricing and value creation: segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounts, and willingness-to-pay methodologies.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end pricing engagements with multiple simultaneous projects.
• Hands-on use of GenAI/LLM tools in pricing or analytics.
• Proficiency with data analysis using spreadsheets and SQL.
• Excellent communication and the ability to influence C-suite and cross-functional audiences.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own pricing engagements end-to-end—from discovery to live deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Lead customer workshops, conduct market research, and align stakeholders.
• Design segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting structures, and monetization logic.
• Drive post-go-live pricing optimization and value capture as customers grow.
• Advise C-level and cross-functional stakeholders on pricing decisions.
• Identify expansion opportunities and drive upsells.
• Use AI-powered pricing platform to solve real customer problems and provide product feedback.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to sharpen AI recommendations.
• Support rollout and onboarding of sales teams to improve execution quality.
• Document learnings to build a scalable Pricing Architect motion.
• Participate in sales pitches to advance prospective deals.
