You will be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer, guiding adoption of AWS services and crafting runbooks to keep environments healthy.

The role emphasizes proactive teamwork with engineering and service teams, and requires strong technical and customer-facing skills, with travel of 10% or more.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 7+ years of equivalent work experience or 9+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to top financial services clients.
• Collaborate with engineers and service teams to drive issue resolution and proactive adoption of AWS services.
• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices.
• Travel 10% or more as needed.
• Lead discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
