Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Cloud Technical Account Manager for Financial Services in New York.

You will be the principal technical advisor to large financial services clients, guiding architecture, operations, and cloud-native adoption while partnering with AWS engineers and service teams to resolve complex issues. You will engage with senior leaders, influence incident response, regulatory considerations, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience informational technology operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 7+ years of equivalent work experience or 9+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• TAM role not direct hands-on; coordinate with engineers to resolve issues.
• Drive AWS Unified Operations (UOps) adoption to boost customer usage of AWS services.
• Represent AWS in a customer's environment with technical acumen and customer-facing skills.
• Lead discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
• Proactively keep customers' AWS environments healthy through reviews, monitoring, and runbooks.
• Use generative AI to accelerate troubleshooting and guide customers in adopting AI services.
