Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for Global Financial Services customers. You will be the principal technical advisor, guiding large financial institutions through AWS services across Compute, Storage, Database, and more.

Travel up to 10% and collaborate with engineers to drive customer success. You will lead strategic discussions with senior leaders, craft runbooks, and ensure operational health of customer environments while leveraging AI to accelerate

Qualifications

5+ years design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications.
5+ years of technical engineering experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 7+ years of equivalent work experience or 9+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as principal technical advisor to some of the world’s largest financial services organizations.
Collaborate with engineers and service teams to see issues through to resolution.
Drive proactive operational health reviews and runbooks for customers.
Represent AWS in customer environments and discuss incidents with senior leadership.
Leverage generative AI to accelerate troubleshooting and customer guidance.
Help customers adopt AWS generative AI services to modernize operations.
