Job summary

McDermott Will & Schulte seeks a Knowledge & Innovation Counsel to drive AI and knowledge initiatives across designated practice groups. The role focuses on solution design, user enablement, and hands-on support to promote adoption and measurable impact.

Responsibilities include guiding attorneys on AI tools, crafting prompts and workflows, and delivering substantive and technical training to build comfort with AI within the team.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited university.
• At least six (6) years of practice and/or KM experience.
• Familiarity with firm’s AI platforms (e.g., Harvey, Claude, ChatGPT).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for one or more practice groups within the Innovation function.
• Assist with knowledge management and AI solution deployment across groups.
• Provide training and drive user adoption of AI tools.
• Translate practice group needs into prompts, agents, and workflows.
• Mentor Knowledge & Innovation Attorneys or analysts.
