Job summary

Data4 is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide technical pre-sales support for the sales team. You will translate customer requirements into robust data center infrastructure solutions and serve as the key technical interface among customers, sales, design, and international stakeholders.

You will develop cost models, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and lead technical evaluations throughout the sales cycle, ensuring solutions are deliverable and scalable for long-term support.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 3–5+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution design — ideally in data center, colocation, telecom, or critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Capture customer requirements and translate into deliverable technical solutions.
• Validate solution feasibility for power, cooling, space, and AI/HPC workloads.
• Develop capex cost models and assess risks with internal stakeholders.
• Lead RFIs/RFPs responses and write customer-facing proposals.
• Coordinate with Design and fit-out teams to translate designs into deployment-ready solutions.
• Lead presales activities for hyperscale cloud providers, neoclouds, and enterprises.
• Build technical arguments and sales materials to reinforce the value proposition.
