Job summary

DDN is seeking a Sales Engineer to design and present high-performance storage solutions across finance, pharmaceuticals, education, and AI workloads. You will translate complex customer requirements into scalable architectures, and demonstrate capabilities through POCs and benchmarks while serving as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities include designing storage for AI/ML, HPC, data analytics, and GPU-accelerated workloads; creating proposals for RFPs; and collaborating with Product and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience.
• Experience describing storage architectures and data protocols clearly.
• Exposure to AI/ML workloads and enterprise storage systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand data challenges in finance, pharma, education, and AI workloads.
• Translate requirements into scalable storage solutions that exceed expectations.
• Act as trusted advisor; lead demos, POCs, and performance benchmarking.
• Create BOMs, architectures, and proposals for complex RFPs.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering; mentor teammates and drive thought leadership.
