Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions directly inside enterprise customer environments. You’ll work with a Deployment Strategist to co‑build solutions that go live in production from day one.

Ideal candidates have hands-on AI, data pipelines, and customer-facing delivery experience, and are fluent in Python/JS/Java/Apex while exploring new tools. Occasional travel of 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience is required.
• Experience delivering projects in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments.
• Fluency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex and willingness to expand as needed.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design agentic AI solutions and ship them into enterprise environments.
• Own end-to-end components from architecture to deployment and observability.
• Build data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Develop agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to ship solutions.
• Identify platform gaps and surface insights to product teams.
