Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You will join a delivery team, partnering with a Deployment Strategist to ship solutions from day one.

You’ll work on AI-powered development, collaborate with senior engineers, and tackle frontier capabilities across data, platform, and headless architectures. Expect ~25% travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with at least one production system.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience is required.
• Experience delivering projects in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic AI solutions for real customer environments from architecture to deployment.
• Design prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems for agent intelligence.
• Own end-to-end components including deployment, validation, and observability in production.
• Build data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks and customer data platforms.
• Create and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to move proofs-of-concept into deployable product.
