Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise customer environments.

You’ll work with a Deployment Strategist to translate customer challenges into production-ready capabilities, shipping real code and measurable business impact from day one. You will own components end-to-end, build data pipelines with Snowflake and Databricks, and collaborate with customers to improve agent performance and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system.
• Experience delivering customer-facing projects in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit environments.
• Fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex; willing to expand as needed.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Strong data modeling, API, and integration pattern knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own technical components end-to-end from architecture to production deployment.
• Build and maintain data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
• Develop agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs for rapid deployment.
• Co-build with customers and partners, sharing best practices.
