Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside customer environments. You’ll join a delivery team and co-build production-grade AI solutions with a Deployment Strategist, spanning configuration, customization, and full-stack deployment to deliver measurable business impact.

You will ship AI-powered customer solutions, design agent intelligence, and own end-to-end components from architecture to observability, including data pipelines with

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with at least one production system.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience required.
• Fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex; willingness to expand.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering; explain prompt failures and changes.
• Data modeling, APIs and integration patterns; design, not just consume.
• Willing to travel approximately 25% to work with customers.

Responsibilities

• AI-powered development: ship real customer solutions with AI tools embedded in workflows.
• Collaborative delivery with Senior Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Strategist; progress to leadership on complex deliveries.
• Work on frontier capabilities spanning Agentforce, data, platform, and headless architectures; provide field insights to product teams.
• Stay at the forefront of AI tools and models; share learnings with team and customers.
• Design agent intelligence including prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own end-to-end technical components from architecture to deployment and observability.
• Build and integrate data pipelines with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks; model data and validate outputs.
• Create agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track health and outcomes.
