Job summary

Slalom, LLC is seeking a Software Architect to own client solution architectures and drive AI-first software development. You will lead teams, apply context engineering, and guide AI‑driven platforms with modern DevOps and observability practices.

You will collaborate with engineers, product leaders, designers, and data practitioners to transform discovery into ship-ready increments, delivering measurable business outcomes through AI‑driven architecture.

Qualifications

6+ years building and operating production software.
Experience delivering GenAI‑driven solutions with multiple developers and AI agents.
Strong API, microservices, eventing, reliability and security foundations.
Proficiency in modern languages and frameworks (TypeScript/Node, Python, Java; React/Next).

Responsibilities

Redefine the AI-first SDLC with flows, patterns and guardrails from ideation to operations.
Lead context engineering using prompt templating, embeddings and retrieval-augmented generation.
Coordinate GenAI‑driven teams with AI agents and engineers for productivity and quality.
Build and codify repeatable AI practices like evaluation harnesses and CI/CD hooks.
Stay hands-on with product architecture and AI‑driven solutions using DevOps and observability.
Coach teams and clients on AI‑accelerated ways of working and translating AI concepts to business value.
