EXA AI in San Francisco is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the technical side of opportunities, partnering with Account Executives from first call through the technical win.

You will run discovery with customers, build tailored demos, design workshops and POCs, and drive the evaluation to a decision, with Forward Deployed Engineers involved when deeper expertise is needed.

This is an in-person role with a fast-paced, AI-native team.

Qualificações

• Several years of hands-on programming experience and ability to build compelling demos and POCs.
• 2+ years of hands-on presales or technical sales experience, ideally at an AI-native or developer-first company.
• Strong communication skills across CTOs, engineers, and PMs and the ability to explain complex technology simply.
• Track record of high performance in demanding environments and the ability to work in a fast-paced, early-stage company.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and workshops.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical side of new opportunities alongside Account Executives from first call through technical win.
• Run discovery to understand a prospect's use case, architecture, data needs, and success criteria.
• Build and deliver tailored demos, sample apps, and prototypes for the prospect's problem.
• Design and run workshops and POCs with clear success criteria and evaluation plans.
• Win technical evaluations by benchmarking Exa on quality, latency, and cost and compare against alternatives.
• Handle technical objections and answer security, compliance, and architecture questions.
• Coordinate with Forward Deployed Engineers for deeper expertise and hand off after close.
