Job summary

EXA AI is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical pre-sales motion in New York City. You will collaborate with Account Executives to demonstrate Exa's capabilities, run discovery, and architect proofs of concept that prove the value of our AI-driven search engine.

Responsibilities include building demos, conducting workshops, and evaluating solutions with prospects. You will hand off to Forward Deployed Engineers after close and travel as needed to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Hands-on programming experience with ability to build demos and POCs end-to-end.
• 2+ years in presales or technical sales at AI-native or developer-first company.
• Strong ability to explain complex tech to CTOs, engineers, and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical side of opportunities with Account Executives from first call to technical win.
• Build and deliver tailored demos, sample apps, and prototypes for prospects.
• Design and run workshops/POCs with clear success criteria and evaluation plans.
