Job summary

BetterCloud is seeking a Sales Development Representative focused on outbound prospecting in a dynamic AI-driven role. You will research and reach out to IT and security leaders across AI, SaaS, and cloud governance, building qualified pipeline with precision messaging and AI-assisted workflows.

You will collaborate with a Sales Director and Account Executives to craft targeted plays, test messaging, and convert interest into qualified meetings.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of outbound sales development or prospecting experience in B2B SaaS.
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tools in a real workflow, not just trial use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to personalize at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own outbound prospecting into target accounts via cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and video.
• Run high-level conversations with senior IT and security executives about AI, SaaS, and cloud governance.
• Partner with Sales Director to design, test, and refine outbound plays and messaging by segment.
