PagerDuty, Inc. seeks a Sales Development Representative to join our diverse, customer-focused team.

This role reports to the Manager, Commercial Sales Development and focuses on generating new business opportunities through inbound and outbound efforts among accounts that fit our ideal customer profile. You will research, prospect, qualify leads, and initiate conversations to help build a pipeline for Account Executives.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of lead generation and prospecting experience.
• Experience with common SaaS tools such as SFDC, Outreach, Salesloft, Tableau, DemandBase, and 6Sense.

Responsibilities

• Understand stakeholders' problems and communicate how PagerDuty will address those priorities.
• Align use cases with the appropriate service offering.
• Adapt to the Command of the Message (COM) selling model and employ solution selling/customer-centric sales methods.
• Develop a proactive point of view on solutions based on customer pain points.
• Encourage conversations between customers and sales teams, aligning to the customer's strategic vision.
• Document qualification details including use case, purchase timeframes, and next steps (MEDDICC).
