Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Architect for end-to-end Sales Performance Management engagements. You’ll lead discovery, design, and the functional architecture across maps, planning, and incentive programs, ensuring scalable, long-term solutions built on the Salesforce platform.

You’ll collaborate with senior architects and product teams, mentor peers, and contribute to proposals while travel-ready to meet customer needs across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing, designing, or consulting on Sales Performance Management or related sales tech
• Deep functional expertise across the SPM domain (compensation, planning, territory)
• Translate business strategy into well-architected solutions
• Model complex incentive and planning logic in formulas or the platform
• Understand data concepts and collaborate with Technical Architects
• Strong executive-level communication in technical and non-technical contexts
• Able to scope work packages and support pre-sales qualification
• Experience mentoring more junior team members
• Based in the US or Canada and willing to travel regionally

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define SPM solution vision, roadmap, and expectations
• Lead discovery and design workshops and document end-to-end functional solution
• Translate requirements into a Salesforce-based implementation across SPM suite
• Own functional design and configuration leadership for maps, planning, programs, and territories
• Apply AI-powered SPM capabilities to accelerate delivery and value
• Define blueprints, best practices, and governance of scope and quality
• Coordinate with Technical Architects on integrations and data
• Mentor team members and promote reusable assets and standards
• Support proposals, staffing plans, and statements of work (SOWs)
• Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support implementations
• Maintain target billable utilization
