Job summary

Tradeweb is seeking a senior Production Support professional focused on applying AI to improve incident response and root cause analysis within the Credit trading platform. The role partners with Development, QA, and Business teams to modernize issue identification and resolution.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in production support or DevOps, strong C++/Python/Node.js, and hands-on experience with logging, containers, Kafka, and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in IT with production support, SRE, or DevOps experience.
• Hands-on support for large-scale financial/trading systems with distributed components.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Node.js, or scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Perl).
• Experience with logging/monitoring, containers/orchestration, Kafka, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical incidents to identify patterns and bottlenecks.
• Design AI-assisted tools to accelerate root cause identification and triage.
• Embed AI into day-to-day production support workflows with engineering teams.
• Develop internal tools and scripts to improve support efficiency.
• Prototype and productionize operational tooling with AI assistants.
• Document AI workflows, playbooks, and best practices for the support org.
• Measure impact through MTTR reduction, investigation time, and effort saved.
• Ensure high availability and stability for production/demo/test environments.
• Deep-dive logs and metrics to understand system behavior and failures.
• Collaborate with AI teams to expand AI features in production.
• Support monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms.
