Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our production support team. You will act as the primary escalation point for production issues and collaborate with engineering to resolve complex problems using AI tooling to reduce repetitive work.

In this hybrid role, you will work on incident response, automation, and knowledge sharing while supporting a global client base in a demanding financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in application support, preferably in financial services.
• 2+ years in a customer-facing role.
• Strong networking, OS (Linux/Windows), and database knowledge (MSSQL/NoSQL).
• Hands-on with AI coding assistants or LLM tooling in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Own complex production issues from triage to resolution and client communication.
• Participate in major incident response with impact analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor system performance and availability to prevent client impact.
• Collaborate with development to fixes and improvements, mentor teammates.
