Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive technical strategy across a multi-team organization. You will define architecture standards, elevate engineering excellence, and directly review work to ensure delivery quality at scale.

You will own production AI platforms, orchestrate LLM workflows, and push for 10x efficiency through automation. You will partner with product and healthcare leaders to translate business goals into impactful engineering bets.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software engineering experience
5+ years leading large-scale engineering organizations
Proven hands-on foundation in distributed systems and cloud-native backends
Experience deploying production AI systems and model deployment pipelines
Track record of migrating monoliths to microservices and modernizing platforms

Responsibilities

Set architectural standards for a multi-team engineering org (50-150+ engineers)
Embed LLMs, generative AI, agentic workflows, and ML automation into the lifecycle
Own delivery at velocity and hold teams to outcomes
Partner with Product, Data Engineers, and health care leaders to translate strategy into engineering bets
Advocate for the right engineering investments and manage technical debt
