Job summary
CVS Health Corporation is seeking an experienced senior software engineer to drive technical strategy across a broad, multi-team engineering organization. You will embed LLMs, AI, and ML-powered automation into the lifecycle, elevating production-grade capabilities and aligning engineering bets with business goals.
You will own delivery at velocity, be accountable for outcomes, and partner with Product, Data Engineers, and health care leaders to translate strategy into precise engineering
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience across scalable systems.
- Deep foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and backend engineering at scale.
- Proven AI platform ownership including deployment pipelines, LLM orchestration, and responsible AI principles.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical strategy across a multi-team engineering org (50-150+ engineers).
- Embed LLMs, generative AI, agentic workflows, and ML-powered automation into the engineering lifecycle as production-grade differentiators.
- Own delivery at velocity and be accountable for outcomes.
- Partner at the executive level with Product owners, Data Engineers, and health care leaders to translate business strategy into engineering bets.
- Be the technical voice in the room; call out debt, push back on infeasible timelines, and advocate for sensible investment.
