Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to craft training curricula and assets for CoCounsel and related AI-powered solutions. You will collaborate with Content Leads, Curriculum Designers, and Professional Services Consultants to build engaging, scalable learning experiences across instructor-led, digital, and on-demand formats.

Qualifications

• BS or MA degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or similar
• 5+ years of Instructional Design experience
• Advanced knowledge of Articulate suite (Storyline, Rise, Review 360), Camtasia, system-generated voiceover software
• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and LMS
• Ability to design dynamic, engaging content with strong learning principles
• Experience using generative AI tools to improve content creation quality
• Strong collaboration and communication with teams at all levels
• Excellent storytelling and project management skills
• Preferred: experience in software product training

Responsibilities

• Participate in curriculum design, instructional design, content writing and course development across formats (live workshops, webinars, on-demand, eLearning, videos, exams, toolkits)
• Research and assess existing course materials to support new content
• Conduct learning needs analysis, curriculum mapping, design, development, testing and evaluation of training materials
• Design cutting-edge, graphically rich, engaging learning materials
• Use gen‑AI tools to support design while maintaining quality and oversight
• Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to deliver high-quality training and certification
• Record time and engagement details for utilization reporting
• Support LMS uploads and other training operations
• Work in-office at least three days per week in a hybrid model
