Job summary

The Training Specialist will create and deliver practical, hands-on learning for CoCounsel Legal and related platforms, driving AI-enabled adoption across customers and partners.

You'll partner with curriculum designers, learn from senior SMEs, and continuously refresh content to reflect product releases and market developments, ensuring impactful outcomes for clients

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) with bar admission in at least one U.S. state is required.
• Experience with legal technology and/or AI-based platforms (e.g., CoCounsel Legal, Westlaw, Practical Law, Legal Tracker, HighQ).
• Experience delivering live and virtual training to groups from ~10 to 50+ participants.
• Ability to design and facilitate practical, hands-on learning activities that drive adoption.
• Agility to manage technical issues and product changes while maintaining learner experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead product training with a primary focus on CoCounsel Legal; deliver training on Legal Tracker, HighQ, Westlaw, and Practical Law.
• Deliver multi-client workshops and dedicated sessions, virtually or onsite at customer, partner, or company locations.
• Partner with curriculum designers, learning experience designer, Professional Services, SMEs, and customers to identify training needs and delivery methods.
• Review and synthesize content to co-create training that drives business transformation and AI-first mindsets.
• Stay current on AI, legal practice, and market developments to keep content accurate and relevant.
• Update training assets aligned to product releases across live, on-demand, eLearning, videos, exams, and toolkits.
• Maintain instructor and participant guides for accuracy and accessibility.
• Collect learner feedback and training data to drive continuous improvement and close curriculum gaps.
• Build deep product expertise in CoCounsel Legal across the legal product portfolio.
• Proactively use generative Thomson Reuters AI tools to accelerate work and iterate quickly.
• Record time and engagement details to support billing and utilization reporting.
