Job summary

Polaris Inc. seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to architect scalable learning experiences that drive measurable business outcomes. You will partner with teams across the organization to analyze needs, develop strategies, and create engaging, AI-enabled learning solutions that improve learner proficiency and performance.

The role involves working with modern tools, evaluating impact with analytics, and leading initiatives from strategy to deployment in a hybrid Minnesota-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Experience Design, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years designing and implementing digital learning solutions.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to address performance needs and measure impact.
• Proficiency with Articulate 360 and modern eLearning tools.
• Experience with AI-enabled content development tools and learning technologies.
• Knowledge of LMS administration, Adobe Creative Cloud, SCORM, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with adaptive learning, learning analytics, and training effectiveness metrics.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and data interpretation skills.
• Hybrid work requirement: Plymouth or Wyoming, MN with 3 days in office and 2 remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain learning experiences using digital, AI-enabled, and multimedia technologies.
• Develop objectives, content strategies, and evaluation criteria aligned with business needs.
• Create scenario-based learning to support knowledge retention and behavior change.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify performance needs and connect learning to outcomes.
• Lead learning initiatives from strategy through implementation, balancing quality and timelines.
• Define success measures and evaluate learning effectiveness with analytics and feedback.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize LMS and related technologies; ensure QA and support.
• Develop change management plans to support adoption of learning solutions.
