Job summary

BlinkRx LLC is seeking an AI Learning Experience Designer to drive AI-powered, simulation-based training across the organization. You will design, build, and continually improve realistic practice environments—from conversational role-play to procedural simulations—at scale.

The role sits at the intersection of instructional design, live facilitation, and Product/Engineering, translating needs into technical requirements and classroom experiences for learners. Hybrid in NY or Seattle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in instructional design, learning experience design, or a closely related L&D role.
• Experience building with AI to design, develop, and scale learning experiences, including AI-assisted content generation, prompt engineering, content transformation, and workflow optimization.
• Experience creating AI-generated learning assets, specifically simulations, chatbots, branching scenarios, role-play conversations, assessments, and coaching/reinforcement activities.
• Experience partnering directly with Product/Engineering teams and communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience designing for and/or delivering live facilitation (virtual or in-person).
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design branching scenarios, role-play conversations, and simulations grounded in adult learning principles.
• Define realism and effectiveness metrics for each simulation with SMEs and facilitators.
• Build a simulation roadmap aligned to top skill gaps and organizational priorities.
• Own prompt engineering and AI-driven simulations using licensed platforms or custom tools.
• Evaluate AI simulation vendors and in-house technologies against learning outcomes and TCO.
• Maintain knowledge of AI/LLM capabilities relevant to training and translate into scope and timelines.
• Act as the liaison between L&D and Product/Engineering writing clear requirements and user stories.
• Partner with facilitators to pressure-test simulations before rollout and incorporate feedback.
• Translate platform constraints into design trade-offs understandable by stakeholders.
• Represent L&D in Product/Engineering planning where tooling and data affect outcomes.
• Pioneer AI-driven design and production processes to scale simulations with quality.
