Job summary

Bandwidth seeks an AI-savvy Internal Applications Engineer to design, develop, and deploy automation workflows and AI-powered internal tools. You’ll work across the stack, from workflows to data pipelines, collaborating with engineers to ship real solutions in production.

You’ll build internal tooling with React and FastAPI, integrate systems via n8n/Windmill, and help maintain Snowflake data pipelines while leveraging AI platforms like Claude Code and OpenAI to drive insights and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with REST API integrations and AI development tools.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Windmill, UI Bakery).
• Experience with AI platforms and LLM APIs (Claude Code, OpenAI).
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and automate processes using automation and AI to reduce manual effort.
• Build internal tooling with React and FastAPI deployed on container infrastructure.
• Integrate Bandwidth's systems with CRM platforms, ServiceNow, and others using n8n, Windmill, and Python scripts.
• Support data pipelines by landing data from operational systems into Snowflake.
• Develop AI-powered solutions to generate insights and automate responses.
