Job summary

Bandwidth is seeking an innovative Internal Applications Engineer in Raleigh to design, develop, and deploy automation workflows, AI-powered tools, and API integrations. You’ll work with senior engineers across the stack from workflow automation to data pipelines, delivering production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• REST API integration experience across platforms or languages.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL & Snowflake.
• Experience with AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Pytest, Vitest).
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) or cloud platforms (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and automate processes using AI, workflows, and software development practices.
• Build internal tooling with React and FastAPI, deployed on container infrastructure.
• Integrate systems across HubSpot, ServiceNow, and others using n8n, Windmill, and Python.
• Support data pipelines by landing data from ops systems into Snowflake.
• Develop AI-powered solutions using LLM APIs for insights and automation.
• Test, gather feedback, and iterate to improve implementations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and document solutions for ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure data security and privacy in automated processes.
