Job summary

Bandwidth is seeking an Internal Applications Engineer to develop and maintain automation workflows, AI-powered internal tools, and system integrations. You will collaborate with senior engineers across the stack—from workflow automation to data pipelines and user-facing applications.

You will leverage AI platforms and LLM APIs to generate insights and automate responses, while ensuring secure, scalable production deployments in a containerized environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with REST API integration across platforms and languages.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL & Snowflake.
• Experience with AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Pytest, Vitest).
• Exposure to Docker or AWS cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and automate workflows using generative AI and orchestration platforms.
• Build internal tooling with React and FastAPI on containerized infrastructure.
• Integrate systems across operational platforms (HubSpot, ServiceNow) using n8n, Windmill, and Python scripts.
• Support data pipelines by creating workflows that land data into Snowflake.
• Leverage AI platforms and LLm APIs to develop AI-powered solutions.
• Test, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions for reliability and usability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to drive adoption of new tools.
• Document solutions, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
